Alter the story

Can someone alter Shadow the Hedgehog's story the way I did and make it so Black Doom wasn't Shadow's father but still important to the story. It's actually a lot simple then I thought it would be and it's kinda maddening that Sonic Team didn't figure it out themselves. Let's see if you can.
